Benjamin James Scott (BJ) was born April 5, 1944
In Jefferson County, Florida the seventh son of the late Rev. Isaiah & Alneata Hogan Scott.
Benjamin attended Howard Academy School in Monticello, Florida.
Benjamin found great pleasure and joy riding around talking and joking with family and friends. Never a stranger to anyone, they were the "Buffalo Hunters"
He was employed at Chevron. He always talked about his co-workers : Mr. Austin Hosford and Ms. Pam Graves and enjoyed their company.
Benjamin peacefully transitioned to be with his heavenly father on Friday night, April 2, 2021.
Benjamin is survived by his siblings: Robert Scott,Sr.,Monticello, Fl, Willie James Scott(Dorothy), Live Oak, Fl, Geneva Smith, Tallahassee, FL, Lois S. Glenn, Boston,GA, Jeraline S. Saul's errands, Tallahassee, FL, Doris S. Jacobs(Joseph T.), Wildwood, Fl, sister-in- laws: Rosa Scott & Aline Johnson, Monticello, FL, God Brother: Alfonso Reed, Monticello, FL, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
